E2658 series is a new line of flameproof detectors and transmitters intended for use in ATEX Zones 2 and 22.

The instruments are based on the PluraSens® multifunctional platform.

One of the most common applications is detection of explosive Ammonia concentrations in refrigeration machinery rooms.

Ammonia detector-transmitter E2658-NH3-P utilizes a fully calibrated and temperature compensated pellistor (catalytic) gas sensor with excellent repeatability, stability and long lifetime.

Two relays with closing contact (optional) may be used for remote signaling or concentration control. Two alarm set-points are user settable.

Two analog outputs and RS485 digital interface with industry standard Modbus RTU protocol can be used to connect the detector to safety or building automation systems.
